SUMMARY:Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Scholar
DESCRIPTION:Job Posting\n\nQuantum Computing Postdoctoral Scholar\n\n\n\nL
awrence Berkeley National Lab’s (LBNL, https://www.lbl.gov/) Applied Mathe
matics and Computational Research Division (https://crd.lbl.gov/divisions/
amcr/applied-mathematics-dept/) and the National Energy Research Scientifi
c Computing Center (NERSC, https://www.nersc.gov/) have a joint opening fo
r a Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Scholar to join the team. \n\nIn this e
xciting role, you will participate in an interdisciplinary quantum computi
ng project. The project involves implementation of innovative FPGA-based f
eatures and programming to enable next generation quantum and hybrid quant
um-classical algorithms on NISQ-era superconducting quantum computers. As
a researcher with strong FPGA experience, you will work closely with resea
rchers at NERSC and quantum computing experimentalists at the Advanced Qua
ntum Testbed on co-design of algorithms and experimental systems.
