SUMMARY:Algorithm Engineering Intern (FaST)
DESCRIPTION:Job Posting\n\nAlgorithm Engineering Intern (FaST)\n\n\n\nWith
over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers aro
und the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation d
evices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the mov
ement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), whi
ch is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection produ
cts, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, softwar
e engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technol
ogy process engineers. The Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Divis
ion provides industry leading metrology solutions for worldwide semiconduc
tor IC manufacturers. The FaST Division portfolio of metrology products i
ncludes hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optica
l critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement system
 s. These products are essential for the IC manufacturers as they provide
critical metrology capabilities for the development and implementation of
their advanced IC processes. The FaST division is committed to support ou
r customers to achieve performance entitlement of our solution and we effe
ctively partner with our customers from their early research and developme
nt phase to the high volume in-line manufacturing implementation specific
for their process needs. The division consists of a global team located i
n US, Israel, China, and India.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nIn this role, you w
ill be a part of the SCD Algorithm group for the FaST division at KLA. We
are looking for an algorithm engineering intern to work in one or more of
the following areas:\n\nDevelop, implement, and improve electromagnetic al
 gorithms\nResearch and develop physics-directed ML algorithms\nResearch an
 d develop specialized optimization algorithms
