 e QCT team provides scientific users with a broad portfolio of quantum res
 ources and services, including quantum simulators, remote access to quantu
 m hardware, on-premise quantum systems, development environment tools, sci
 entific consultancy, and education/training. A main focus of this team is 
 the research and development of integration pathways for quantum accelerat
 ion capabilities for next-generation high-performance computing (HPC) syst

 Technical Project Manager, Quantum Program (f/m/d)\n\n
As the Grant / Tech
 nical Project Manager (GTPM), you’ll assist the department head in the man
 agement of an extensive third-party R&D project portfolio in the QCT depar
 tment consisting of state, federal and European projects. Your work will e
 nsure correct and efficient use of funds and completion of milestones and 
 deliverables. This is a quick-paced, multi-faceted position dealing with o
 ften changing timelines and priorities. Agility and comfort with pivoting,
  exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, anticipation of needs, and
  commitment to representing LRZ professionally are paramount to success. Y
 our efforts help keep us in a leadership position as a world-class computi
 ng center delivering first-of-kind results with quantum computing.  \n\n

 our Responsibilities\n\n- Track projects and provide updates on consistent
 ly for strategy alignment, adjustments, and progress\n- Collect input and 
 generate draft project reports for review\n- Externally, liaise with proje
 ct funders to ensure accuracy and efficiency of communications and actions
  and project management level of strategic vendor and project partners. \n
 - Internally, liaise with the finance department and HR stakeholders to en
 sure efficiency of process and communication. Cross-check finance reports 
 from finance department with internal team activity\n- Lead coordination o
 n grant writing and procurements, organizing technical staff contributions
  \n- Coordinate information, including ensuring centralized and up-to-date
  documentation\n- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, quality con
 trol and standards throughout entire project \n- Spearhead special project
 s and assist in other duties as needed for the success of the mission
