Biography
Ben is a Senior Computer Science R&D Staff at Sandia National Laboratories and focuses on monitoring technologies and advanced analysis techniques to improve supercomputer productivity. He is part of the development team for the Lightweight Distributed Metric Service (LDMS) code base, which is an HPC monitoring framework used in HPC sites worldwide and leads the analysis and visualization efforts within the team. He also leads several university and multi-lab research projects, acts as a data science consultant for network cybersecurity analysis at Sandia, and guest lecturers at colleges on high-performance computing to develop the next-generation of researchers.
